Old dog loves her bed

We've owned this dog bed for 18 months now and our Boxer, weight around 70lbs, has slept on this just about every day during daylight hours. Even after 18 months the bed is showing little sign of sagging - less than an inch in the center . In this time scale we would have gone through at least 3 of the cheaper $50 - $60 beds.
We have even ordered a second for overnight use as our dog likes it so much. As others have said there is a fleece side which our dog prefers to the stiffer fabric side. Easy to get the cover off to clean as well |
Pet Goods OrthoCare Foam Pet Bed

I purchased this bed in hopes of giving my 13+ year old Lab some relief for her aging bone joints. She absolutely fell in love with it. I selected the large model to give her room to stretch out without extending over the edges. It's more then large enough for her and I can't imagine needing anything larger. Although somewhat expensive, I found the item to be of exceptionally high quality and appears to be able to withstand years of use. The high density foam is as advertised, dense and firm yet it yields to provide support while conforming to her body's shape. It came enclosed in a protective fitted transparent zippered container which is made of fairly heavy plastic so I chose to leave it on for now. Additionally, a fleece cover was also supplied although this seems a bit on the thin side so I chose to back it up with a thicker one I already had to provide additional warmth for her during the night. As I stated earlier, my dog loves it and spends a great deal of time snoozing. She seems to experience much less difficulty getting up in the mornings after sleeping on it. If it eases her old bones I'm all for it. I definately would purchase this bed again and highly recommend it for anyone who loves their dog, particularly if it's elderly or has any form of bone or joint problems. I only wish I'd gotten it much earlier

Eleven-year-old Juno Dog loves to stretch her 112-pound frame out on this comfortable bed. So far, no sign of sagging or wear. She used to sneak up on the couch; but, now she's just as happy to spend her down time on her thick and sumptuous doggy bed.

This is the second time I have purchased this dog bed for my dog. It has been an excellent bed for her. It provides much better rest for my 15 year old dog. I highly recommend it!
Great Dog Bed

This bed arrived quickly and in excellent condition. As soon as I got it out of the box and on the floor my 15 yr. old dog Jack immediately took to it. He has abandoned his old bed along with his favorite chair (that he used for watching TV). Would definitely recommend for anyone who has an older dog with arthritic conditions.

My french bulldog sleeps on this bed and prefers it to two other sleeping areas we have for him. The memory foam is firm and it looks pretty comfortable for my little guy. I only wish that the material on the top wasn't white, as it seems to get dingy very quickly. I would buy this again and suggest this item to friends.
Great Supportive Dog Bed at a reasonable price!

This is the best dog bed that I have ever owned. I have purchased many, very expensive dog beds from that big mail-order company in Freeport. But those mattresses were flat, torn and non-supportive in a short time.
This bed is very firm, will keep your pet up, off of the floor, and provide firm (but comfy) support for those with sore joints, as well as preventing your younger dogs from acquiring joint problems .
I highly recommend the high-quality of this item, it is well-priced when compared with the quality that it offers. |

We bought this bed for our Rottweiler over a year ago and find ourselves in the position of having to replace as it sags badly in the center. I would not buy this brand again.

Our dog really likes his bed, he has some back problems, being a bassett mix, he needs all the back support he can get. He used to snore like a freight train but no more. He does not move around to get comfortable and sleeps much better,
orthopedic dog bed

This is a great orthopedic dog bed! It is 7" thick, when many other "orthopedic" dog beds are 1 1/2"! The cover on top is fleece, but the entire cover is not heavy duty. I would buy it again...best I found, and can always replace the cover. (its washable) Easy for my stiff old puppy to get on cause it squishes enough to let them get on, but stays thick enough to comfort old bones.

Outstanding product for the money! I wanted something to fit in my kitchen under the desk area where my golden LOVES to curl up while I work at the computer and this was perfect! Most the products I was looking at were $100 or more so this was a great bang for the buck!! Only pitfall...no color choices!

My German Shepherd loves this bed and it is very supportive for her joints. I would recommend this bed over the standard egg crate bed for anyone with a dog prone to hip dysplasia and arthritis.

My fourteen year old pup does a lot of sleeping now days and this one really seems to keeps him comfortable. The egg carton foam feels like it gives him lighter support than a solid foam mattress. The cover is fully zippered and easy to get off for cleaning if I can ever get him off of it! Just what he deserves after so many years.
